Cobalt-blue glazed porcelain bowl, Qing dynasty

A porcelain bowl glazed in a rich cobalt-blue colour that covers the inside and outside the piece, except for the rims and base. It has a circular base on which rises a rounded body, narrower at the bottom and widening from the waist towards the top, creating an undulating, sinuous profile. 

It has a six-character seal on the base with ‘大清道光年制’ on a white background and in underglaze blue.
