Decorative zitan wall vase, Qing dynasty.

Made of zitan wood (紫檀) carved with archaic style reliefs in the center depicting mythological animals. On the neck and just above the foot are leaves and geometric borders. Below is a joined base that has openwork details, a cut-out skirt and three feet. 

On the back is a six-character square seal carved into the wood that reads 大清道光年制款 "Daoguang Year of the Qing dynasty".
