Emmanuel Mané-Katz (Kremenchuk, 1894 - Haifa, 1962) was an expressionist painter, of Russian origin and Jewish descent, who belonged to the so-called School of Paris. In later years, his palette became brighter, with primary colors, and the subject more focused on Jewish themes. In Paris he was in contact with important artists such as Pablo Picasso.
