Description.
A modelled ceramic vase covered with a beautiful ‘Geyao’ or ‘哥窑’ glaze, with an ochre-toned celadon ground decorated with an elegant network of crazing produced by firing. It has a short hexagonal foot, on which there is a bulging, lobed belly, similar to the bud of a flower. It narrows at the shoulders to form a slender cylindrical neck, decorated with two horizontal ribs that mimic the shape of a bamboo branch. Longquan Kiln.
