Description.
Modelled porcelain in the form of a vase, with a flaring foot, a globular body that narrows at the neck, flanked by two elongated handles, and a thin flaring mouth. The back of the vase is flat and is set on a custom-made wooden frame. It is richly decorated with underglaze blue and white enamels, which form elaborate floral patterns above which is a central medallion of auspicious Chinese character. The wooden panel that frames the vase is decorated with openwork geometric elements, arranged in a complex latticework pattern.
