On the base is a six-character seal 大清雍正 (made in the Yongzheng reign of the Qing dynasty) in blue on white underglaze.
A small bowl with a foot made of porcelain with decoration outlined in underglaze cobalt-blue and filled with green and yellow overglaze glazes. The term 'doucai' means that the decoration is on 'both sides' according to the Jingdezhen dialect. This technique was executed in this way because there was no blue overglaze glaze of sufficient quality. Most doucai wares have a reign mark.
The decoration on the inside is surrounded by a double circle and depicts a branch of cherry blossoms. The exterior is decorated with four circles of similar branches, separated by garlands, and framed by a double circle at each end.
The piece is in perfect condition with no breakages or restorations.
