Description.
A traditional teapot made of modelled, polychrome porcelain. It has a cylindrical body with a sinuous, elongated spout, which narrows at the shoulders flanked by two small supports for a metal handle, and crowned by a narrow, rounded mouth. It is lavishly decorated with coloured enamels depicting beautiful peony blossom branches, fruits, lotuses and elegant birds with colourful plumage. Qing Dynasty (1644-1912) or later.
