Description.
Modelled porcelain in the form of an elegant vase, with a rounded, slender body and a slender cylindrical neck. It is adorned with a continuous scene of two ferocious five-clawed dragons, with gaping jaws, sharp fangs and scaled, sinuous bodies curling over a sea of raging waves and a cloud-covered sky, as they chase after flaming golden pearls. All of this is executed in green enamel over glaze. On the base is a six-character seal ‘大清道光年制’.
