Enamelled vase with checkerboards, Republic of China

Porcelain with an enamelled scene. Slender form with a wider base, short neck and open mouth. The scene depicted is above the main body and depicts elaborately dressed ladies amidst clouds. On the base is a seal in red "居仁堂制" (Jū rén táng zhì), and in the centre. It retains a collector's sticker.
