Facsimile of single printing "Poems of Mio Cid", 2007

Facsimile of a unique edition made from the book "Poema del Mio Cid". The only medieval manuscript that has transmitted the Song of Mio Cid in its poetic form is the so-called "codex of Vivar", because this town in Burgos, the hometown of the Cid, is the place of its oldest known origin, which is currently kept in the National Library of Spain. The edition consists of 800 copies, this one numbered 348. Two books, one in cloth and the other in brown leather inside an elegant velvet or beige suede box.
