Francisco Val (1915 - 2016) is a painter born in Caudete (Albacete) who moved to Valencia at a very young age. He lived in Murcia to occupy the Chair of Statue Drawing at the School of Arts and Crafts between 1962 and 1977. After that time he returned to Valencia where he obtained the title of Professor of Drawing. He developed a variety of pictorial genres such as landscapes, portraits and still lifes. The painter's last exhibition was held at the Círculo de Bellas Artes in Valencia in 2013.
