Description.
Pottery modelled in the form of a vessel, with a flat circular base and an oval body tapering towards a short neck, ending in a rounded mouth crowned by a concave lid. It is decorated with an elegant glaze of a light, subtly greenish hue, covered with a fine network of crazing produced by firing. Gongyi Kiln, Tang dynasty (618 - 906) or later.
