Description.
Modelled ceramic with an elliptical body and a short curved rim. It is decorated with coloured glazes that imitate the morphology of jasper, a mineral of sedimentary origin. In the centre are four characters in black, along with three small seals. At the base is a six-character seal ‘大清乾隆年制’ in gilding.
