Glazed porcelain bowl, Qing Dynasty

A porcelain bowl with a circular body that stands on a short foot. It widens slightly towards the mouth, creating a subtly flared profile. It has a beautiful underglaze glaze of a coppery hue that becomes fainter at the edges, revealing the white of the porcelain.

A six-character seal ‘大清道光年制’ in underglaze blue is displayed on the base against a brilliant white background.
