Description.

Beautiful porcelain candelabra composed of a wide circular foot on which stands a body that combines flared, rounded, and balustraded volumes, arranged in an overlapping manner, forming a slender and elongated hollow body in the center. In the central area there is a second disc in the form of a slightly convex plate. The piece ends with a thin circular mouth wider than the center. 

The piece is profusely decorated with colorful enamels. The bottom has a beautiful bluish or lavender color, on which sgraffito decorations have been made. Both the base and the central disk show a floral pattern, with scrolls of branches twisted together, beautiful flowers and large leaves. The central body shows a succession of borders that, following the floral theme, represent elongated leaves, beautiful lotuses in bloom and fine colored dots. All the borders and some details in particular, are decorated with details in gold, slightly faded by the passage of time. It shows a four-character seal on the base “乾隆年制”.

This type of utensils are part of the utensils used in Buddhist altars for rituals and ceremonies.
