Description.
Porcelain modelled in the form of a ‘Dan Ping’ vase. It has a short circular foot and a rounded, pear-shaped body with a lobed, flower-bulb-shaped surface, tapering into a slender cylindrical neck, flanked by two flat ears, decorated with fine reliefs. The whole is covered with a pristine white glaze. On the base is a six-character seal ‘大明宣德年制’ in underglaze. Qing dynasty (1644-1912).
