Description.
Porcelain modelled in the form of a bust of Guanyin, set on a rectangular base, with a serene expression, her mouth and eyes closed. The hair is tied back and covered by a long veil topped with a thin crown. The exterior is covered with a faint celadon glaze with fine craquelure. Song Dynasty (960-1279) or later.
