Description.

Porcelain vase with “ famille rose” decoration in colored enamels. It has a balustraded profile, with a circular base, rounded shoulders, a short neck and an open mouth.

On a blue background decorated with patterns of auspicious Buddhist symbols on the body and small roundels on the neck, made in sgrafiatto, are arranged on the body, two scenes inscribed in a frame of scrolls showing two small birds with rich plumage in a beautiful garden full of vegetation and colorful flowers. The shoulders are adorned with lace and hanging flowers, and the neck shows a continuous branch with leaves curled as a ring.

It shows a four-character mark “乾隆年製” in underglaze blue on a white background and an old label stating “Panama Exposition 1919, Exhibit from Kiangsi China”.
