Description.
Porcelain vase enameled in monochrome blue with two scenes and a poem. It has an oval shape with two elephant heads as handles. The scenes depict two bird chicks surrounded by flowers, rocks and bamboo in enamel on a white background; accompanied each with an inscription and two seals made in enamel.
The inscription indicates the title of the painting "秋菊佳色" (Autumn Chrysanthemums), the authorship and the year: "辛丑年 / 张松涛作" (In the year Xin Chou / by Zhang Song Tao). In addition, on the base is a seal done in red enamel indicating:
景德镇艺术瓷产 / 美研室 / 1961年 "Jingdezhen Artistic Porcelain Factory/Beauty Research Bureau/Year 1961".
