Description.
An elegantly modelled ceramic jug covered with a smooth white glaze. It has a globular, lobed body, similar to the shape of a pumpkin, on which is a long neck that ends in a conical mouth. On either side are the thin, flat handle and the slightly curved, cylindrical, upward-curving mouthpiece. Song Dynasty (960-1279) or later.
Height: 29.5 cm; Mouth diameter: 9 cm; Base diameter: 9 cm.
