Great blue shark "Carps and foo dog"

A ceramic tibor with a sky-blue glaze covering the entire outer surface. The body, with a stylized shape and broad shoulders, shows incised decorations of geometric motifs and large koi carp. The circular, concave lid features large engraved flowers and lotus leaves, and is crowned with a freestanding figure of a foo lion, resting on its hind legs and showing a menacing expression with open jaws. Possible 19th century or later.
