"Guiyuan" vegetable or rice bowl, with Jiaqing seal

Blue-glazed porcelain with relief decoration in patterns of clouds, waves and ruyi. This vessel has an eared lid that was used to turn it upside down for use as a bowl, or to cover food to keep it warm. On the bottom of the bowl is a cold, underglaze seal 大清嘉庆年制 'Made in Jiaqing of the Qing dynasty'.
