Description.
A small jade vase with a warm white hue and a smoothly polished surface. It has an elongated body with a rounded belly and an elongated neck, flanked by two handles carved in the form of slender, twisted-tailed tigers, and terminating in a domed lid. The belly is finely carved with archaic taotie mask motifs, followed by an incised poem that is set into the carved neck. It is accompanied by a small wooden base carved with borders and vegetal motifs. It shows age patina.
