Description.
The vase has a hexagonal base with a faceted profile and a wide body, crowned by a stylised neck that ends in a flaring mouth. The vase is decorated on all sides with delicate images of pomegranate branches, persimmons, lingzhi mushrooms, chrysanthemums and peonies in blossom. All of this is framed by fine lace borders and geometric motifs. On the base is a six-character seal ‘大清乾隆年制’ in underglaze blue.
