Description.
Modelled porcelain, in the form of a ‘Hulu' gourd with two superimposed rounded bodies, the upper one being slightly smaller, joined by a narrow waist. It is adorned by a continuous scene of ferocious five-clawed dragons, with sinuous bodies covered with scales, large eyes and curved horns. The beasts fly over a sky of curling clouds. With six-character mark on the base ‘大明万历年制’, inscribed in a double circle.
