Description.
Composed of an embroidered silk panel with a pair of dragons facing each other, chasing a flaming pearl, over the sea and surrounded by clouds, along with two characters "聖旨" placed in between. It is attached to a paper containing the same imperial edict, made in ink twice in Chinese and Manchu alphabet. Between the two are two imperial seals in red and an inscription "嘉庆十四年正月初一日" (The first day of the first month of the fourteenth year of Jiaqing). In a silk frame. Shows wear.
