Description.
A yellow jade plaque carved in relief on the front and plain on the back. It depicts the figure of a standing bear with a menacing expression. In the Han period bears were present in the mountains and forests, so it was common to see them depicted on grave goods. In good condition with reddish patina "沁色" (qìn sè) produced by antiquity.
