Description.
Carved white jade, with beautiful reddish flecks. It shows the image of a traditional fish, with curved fins and a scaled body, ending in a raised head with large, rounded eyes and a slightly open mouth, with which it holds an elongated branch of water lilies. It shows age-related wear. Qing dynasty (1644-1912) or later. With custom-made box.
