Description.
A grey jade carving in the shape of a steep mountain, at the base of which, on the main face, flows a river in which a boat with an old man in it is sailing. On the peak of the mountain is carved a four-character inscription on the mountain and on the reverse, roughly in the centre, a poem with the minister's signature '朱珪' (Zhu Gui) and two seals.
It stands on an elaborate custom-made wooden pedestal which is also in the shape of craggy rocks and in this case has vegetation such as trees and shrubs.
Both have patina due to their age.
