Description.
A white jade carved in the shape of a ring, with a circular base and a thick rim. The exterior, executed in bas-relief, shows a continuous image of an elongated three-clawed dragon with a fierce expression, open mouth and sharp tongue, chasing a large flaming pearl. The body of the beast is delicately decorated with an incised pattern of lozenges resembling the dragon's scales. It shows a patina produced by the passage of time. Ming Dynasty (1368 - 1644)
