Description.
Carved white jade, with reddish, golden and ochre flecks. It shows what appears to be a triangular shield, with rounded corners, embossed rice-grain patterns and flanked by two openwork projections of scrolls and phoenixes. It is surmounted by the image of a traditional dragon, with a sinuous body, bent legs, piercing gaze and long curled tail.
