Description.
A square seal of white jade, with reddish-golden flecks, carved in the shape of a 'dragon turtle'. The figure of the animal is very well depicted, lying on its outstretched legs with its head facing forward. The face is composed of bulging eyes above flaring nostrils and a broad snout. The head has horns that fall over the carapace. The details are elaborated in the form of an engraving that shows birds on the pedestal. The base has an engraved seal "孙敏印信" (Sūn min yìnxìn). In very good condition with signs of patina due to age.
Size: 3 x 2.5 x 2.4 cm; Weight: 29 g
