Description.
Hetian jade "河磿玉" (Hé lì yù) carved with reddish inclusions. The shape of the amulet depicts a "Sun God" of human appearance, but with wings, horns and the face of a wild beast. The posture is that of a squatting figure with his hands on his legs. In very good condition for its age.
Provenance: Important collection of Tommy Lam, Hong Kong, since 1980.
