Junyao ‘Flower’ glazed vessel, Jin dynasty

The ceramic is modelled and covered with a beautiful Junyao glaze in a light-blue hue with purple splashes. It consists of three cylindrical bodies with rounded edges that meet in the centre, as does its lid, which is crowned with reliefs of thick roots and flowering branches. The lid is crowned with thick reliefs of roots and flowering branches. Jin Dynasty (1125-1234) or later.
