"La celestina" Illustrated by Pablo Picasso, 2007

Special edition printed on 130 g Old Mill paper in four inks. Copy numbered "H.C" comprising two volumes.

The edition presents 66 engravings selected by Picasso for his illustration of La Celestina, from Suite 347, in facsimile. It also includes a text by Fernando de Rojas and in the second volume related articles by Antonio Prieto "Tragicomedia de Calisto y Melibea. La época, el lugar, las brujas", Pere Gimferrer "Picasso y La Celestina", Brigitte Leal "La Celestina de Picasso", Kosme de Barañano "La Celestina según Picasso" and Lourdes Cirlot" "Los grabados de Picasso para La Celestina". 

The volumes are protected by a metal box and a cloth slipcase with a photographic portrait of Picasso in Vallauris (1957) on one of the inside covers.
