Description.
Rectangular tray in carved wood covered with a beautiful deep red lacquer. The interior is decorated with a beautiful vertical scene, executed in relief, showing the architecture of a large traditional Chinese palace, accompanied by large branches of trees covered with leaves, and a pond with water lilies on the left. All of this is framed by a decorative border of plant motifs. It shows wear due to ageing.
