Description.
Made of porcelain decorated in underglaze blue and white. The 'Bianhu' or 'Moonflask' form has a circular body with a cylindrical neck, which widens to the mouth, and two arched side handles, ending in a scroll, which join the neck to the body. It is decorated with lotus-related elements. In the centre is a flower with multiple overlapping petals surrounded by a line of lotus leaves, and finally a wide band of lotus scrolls. The neck has a band of leaves.
Size: 56 x 11,5 x 40 cm.
Provenance: Acquired in Spain in the 1980s.
