Large "Bianhu" porcelain vase, 20th century

Made of porcelain decorated in underglaze blue and white. The 'Bianhu' or 'Moonflask' shape is characterized by a circular, flattened body supporting a cylindrical neck. On each side, handles join the neck to the body, in this case in the shape of a dragon. It is decorated with dragons and flowers between curled leaves. On the base is a square seal '大清乾隆年制' Qianlong.
