Large glass and bronze writing desk, 18th century

Louis XV style glass and bronze writing desk. The body, decorated with a gadrooned design, is enhanced by its base, which, although divisible, is perfectly adapted to the square shape of the writing desk. Both the base and the top are decorated with floral and animal motifs, with a base that resembles the skin of a reptile, and there are vegetal reliefs in bronze. The lid is attached to the body by means of a hinge on one side. In good condition.
