Description.
A glazed ceramic bowl with purple decoration on the outside and blue decoration on the inside. The shape of the bowl is very open, with an irregular rim, on a small circular base that is unglazed. The glaze is thinner on the rim, and on the inside the glaze is slightly crackled and streaked with a darker shade of blue. The purple on the reverse has a flame-like texture in shades of bluish, violet and reddish. The possible use for this bowl would be to hold water or offerings by a servant to a noble person or for use in a temple.
In a very good state of preservation, unbroken, with small knocks on the base.
