Description.
Embossed copper plaque and frame, partially gilded, with some inlaid hard stones. This votive plaque may have been made for a domestic shrine. It depicts Tara in the center, flanked by two attendants and standing on a lotus base within an inlaid border. It is surrounded by an outer frame with another Buddha amid scroll decorations. Around it, there is another frame with protective elements such as dragons, mythological beings and deities.
