Mahogany sideboard, George III, 19th century

English sideboards with a wavy front in carved and assembled wood. It has two drawer registers with oak veneered fronts and fruitwood fillets. The upper register has three narrower drawers with lion's-head handles with a ring. The lower register is formed by three deep drawers, locks and ringed fruit-shaped fittings. They are also framed by cord mouldings. The fittings are of patinated bronze. The lid also shows fillet and veneer work. It stands on tall legs with moulded fronts. It shows wear.
