Description.
A bronze or patinated brass figure. It shows an Indo-Tibetan-influenced representation of the deity ‘Usnīsavijayā’, who stands on a lotiform throne accompanied by two servants and two small protective deities, one of them being ‘Ganesha’. The image is erect, with straight legs and a firm torso, around which eight arms are stretched, forming mudras and carrying ritual elements. The head, with a serene expression, is crowned with a diadem of petals from which celestial ribbons hang.
