Morbier" Grandfather clock, 19th century

Grandfather clock made of pine wood varnished and polychromed on the outside with country motifs. The shape of the "Morbier" type clocks have in common the silhouette and the mechanism. This begins with a rectangular base that narrows to hold a central box that houses a large pendulum that gives it its shape. It ascends to the narrower watch case with an embossed and gilded metal dial. The mechanism needs to be overhauled for faults and wear. Inside are two weights and a pendulum. The case is in good condition with wear due to age.
