Description.

A type A natural jadeite, translucent and light green in colour with dark green flecks. It is rectangular in shape and has an exquisite relief carving with openwork details, showing a central dragon with a serpentine body covered with scales, its head turned to the left, crowned by long horns and with a wrathful expression. Surrounding it is a network of winding branches with large leaves and lotuses in bloom. The reverse, also with openwork decorations that allow the interior of the piece to be seen, has a decorative pattern of geometric elements framed by a border of small spirals. Qing Dynasty (1644 - 1912).
