Pair of blue and white porcelain tibors, Jingdezhen, Qing dynasty

Pair of Chinese porcelain tibors with wide shoulders and domed lid. The decoration is in cobalt blue under glaze. It is divided into rectangular cartouches, with scenes of ladies, peonies on rocks, landscapes or bouquets, surrounded by regular backgrounds. The neck and foot are decorated with horizontal borders of flowers (above) and Buddhist treasures (below) between double lines. It has some wear and tear from use.
