Description.
Bronze in the form of a tripod censer holding a tubular body with a wide, wide mouth. The sides of the censer have two lion heads as handles, and between them are three archaic characters surrounded by a frame of fretwork, all in relief. Both have a rectangular Ming Xuande seal '大明宣德年制' (Dàmíng xuāndé nián zhì) in relief on the base. With wear and patina.
