Pair of Chinese blue and white tibor, Qing dynasty

Enameled blue on white under glazed porcelain. The form is stylized with broad, high shoulders supporting a domed wooden lid. The decoration consists of "shuāngxi" or "double happiness" symbols on a background of flower vines as decorative bands. In the center of the base they have a four-character mark indicating "成化年制" (Chéng huà nián zhì). They show wear from use and faults.
