Description.
Two light-coloured jade plaques with reddish flecks. Carved in rectangular format, with rounded edges, they show a profusely engraved decoration of a great sea filled with curving waves, over which majestic dragons with sinuous, scaly bodies fly, one of which is ridden by a young, happy child carrying a small flag in his hand, while a small dog watches the scene from the shore. On the back are square four-character stamps. Has age patina. Custom-made box enclosed.
Size: 6 x 0.9 x 4 cm
