Description.
A pair of highly detailed freestanding figures in greyish-white jade. The animal is showing its fangs with a menacing expression, its body is crouched, and its gaze is directed in opposite directions. The elements such as the hair, the spine and the face are very well represented. In good condition with patina due to age. Tang Dynasty (618-906 AD).
